Exchange Received and Round Robin Finished

Here is the Fair and Square round #7 Squares that
I received from Sonda. She stitched me a peacock
and did some great embellishing with beads and
sparkly threads. My good friend Jill (Purple Peacock)
really liked these squares.
Sonda also sent me some fabric and three skeins
of overdyed threads.
Thanks Sonda.

Then I am in a LHN RR and here is the square that
I stitched for Suzanne. I am really enjoying this
RR. I can't wait to see the progress of mine
and the other six.

Happy Stitching.

Patriotic Exchange

Here's the wonderful exchange I received today from a
private exchange with a small group of stitcher's.

Marie sent this exchange. The design is taken from "Liberty"
by Birds of a Feather. I just love the design and it is finished
off very nice.

Marie also sent some great goodies: two pieces of fabric, 3 skeins of
sampler thread, some Alma Lynne buttons, 2 flag charms,
and some ribbon and lace. Great things to use for finishing.

I have really enjoyed this exchange. I will post what I sent
to my partner as soon as she receives it.

Thanks again Marie for the fantastic Patriotic Exchange.

ABC Exchange

Here is the ABC exchange I received from Carol S
today. I was so excited to see a package from Carol.
Inside was a wonderfully stitched piece and some great
goodies. The design is ABC Maison Bleue by Les grilles de Maryse.
It was stitched on 40 count Violet mist silkweaver linen with
DMC floss. She also sent a pattern from my wishlist:
A Quaker Christmas by By Gone Stitches. Plus a piece
of 32 count linen from Lakeside Linen and Sea Foam Blue
hand dyed floss and hand lotion.

I just love everything. I was a very good day for me.
Now I am off to do some stitching.

My Newest Acquisition

Here are my newest scissors. They are DMC marbleized scissors.
The one with the fob on it is called Purple Essence. The other one
is called Golden Copper. You can't really tell the colors of them very
well from the pictures. The best part is I got them with 50% off
coupons!!!! I bought them at Joann's. Got to love those coupons.
Also need to mention that the fob was made by Jill F. I just love it.

Weekend of Finishing

Here is what I managed to get finished this weekend.
I am really happy to get this much done. I also had
one more pinkeep, but it is for an exchange so I can
not post it yet.
The Christmas ornament was for the Brides Tree
Christmas ornament SAL. It was May's ornament.
I got it done just in time.
The tin topper was for the Monthly Finishing Challenge.
I got that done very quickly. It was fun to stitch and finish.
Then I finished two Fair and Squares. They turned out quite
nice. Thanks to Gaby and Nicky.
Then I finished USA squared. I also liked stitching that design,
and the way the finishing turned out.
Plus I did get an exchange piece done.
Now I am back to getting some stitching in. I have a
RR to finish by the 15th.
There are also some other projects just waiting to get started.
KEEP STITCHING until next time.
